Zull'em Path
Within Firya’s southern ridges lies Zull’em, a land of calm hills and fertile grasslands where Adanel farms stretch between rivers and coast. Traders follow the long path from the Emerald Coast northward toward Greimdall, a road lined with markets, inns, and the quiet hum of village life. Unlike other districts, Zull’em is rarely scarred by conflict. Its fields remain the breadbasket of Firya, sustained by temperate winds and soil enriched by centuries of careful cultivation.

The Identity
From the start, we wanted Zull’em Path to feel vibrant and calm. It needed to stand apart from the harsher regions, showing Skyland’s beauty in a way that feels almost safe. The first sketches leaned on the classic look of peaceful fantasy landscapes, with rolling greens, wide skies, and a road that draws the eye forward. This set the tone: a path that feels alive with travelers, yet serene in its atmosphere.
The Mood
Our focus was on brightness. Clear skies, farmlands, and the distant outline of Greimdall gave the piece a sense of scale and purpose. Greimdall itself became the anchor of the composition, always visible on the horizon as a destination. The mood we aimed for was one of ease, where the land invites you to breathe and wander, in contrast to the tension of darker regions.
The Essence
To deepen the scene, we added details that carry story. Small farms scattered across the hills. Adventurers crossing the road. Ruins of old Gnommer towers, broken and reclaimed by time. These touches remind that peace in Skyland is never without history. What looks like a calm road is layered with echoes of those who walked before.
