What is Unbound?
Ever wanted to play something like D&D but without needing a Game Master? Or maybe you just want to jump into an adventure solo?
Unbound takes the spirit of tabletop role-playing and turns it into a flexible, self-driven experience.
It’s a cooperative RPG-lite where freedom and simplicity meet. You create your character, explore Skyland, and shape your story as you go. The rules are designed to be intuitive, letting you focus on the adventure rather than the setup.
How It Works
You’ll start by building your hero using a structured character sheet, choosing your species, profession, abilities, traits, and weaknesses from the handbook.
The game is played through a collection of books, each designed for a specific purpose:

The Handbook: Core rules, character creation, and gameplay structure.

The Atlas: Every page is a location map with paths and zones to explore, face challenges, gather resources, solve puzzles, and uncover secrets.

The Codex: Details of enemies, factions, resources, receipts, and NPCs tied to each region.

The Campaign Book: A branching story where every decision changes the outcome as you flip through pages.
You can follow the main story or forge your own path through side quests, survival mechanics, crafting, and exploration across Skyland’s shifting seasons. It’s a sandbox adventure without limits.
